A Connectivist Disconnected?

Gladys Gahona’s message got me to LinkedIn today. Once there I found several invitations to join networks. I feel honoured to join you, thanks.

If the post title sounds as unbelievable or incongruent as a cat barking,  the fact that  Stephen Downes requested me on May 15th to join his network seemed equally unbelievable.   

However, it only shows that the map is not the territory.

Out of the web I’m connected. 
Inside the web, I’m disconnected.

Do the above phrases reflect the map or the territory?
Who knows? I guess it depends on the place where you’re standing.

Anyway, I came to post what is an unbelievable event from where I seem to stand now.
