Vance's Presentation. IATEFL Exeter 2008

I am listening to Vance, giving his presentation.
Multiliterate Autonomous Learner is the main frame. The topic here is: Multiliteracies and the inculcation of strategies for livelong learning.
It was part ofthe IAEFTL, Exeter Event and updated the 9th of April 2008.
He explains RSS, Aggregation and Tagging, among other things. You have to know that when I say "other things" refering to Vance's talks it means a whole collection of ideas that are new to me.

I have a question though... Where was Vance when he recorded the presentation? At Men's College at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi UAE the 12th of April 2008.
I always get confused, he, he.

Here is the recorded presentation at Elluminate. You will feel you were there!

I am also reading last Sunday's TappedIn script. Webheads meet every sunday at TappedIn at 12:00 GMT. It is too early for me to attend live but I have a beautiful flower called Daffodil sharing the sripts with me and I read and follow it during the week. I am learning a lot that way! Thanks Nergiz!

Second Life, another site that keeps me away from here

I am helper at Second Life English. Of course I am learning, Nergiz and Daf have been there to teach me how to move with my avatar and do things there.
Here is an invitation to a Free conference at Second Life, please feel free to join.

I have a long way to go but I think is a wonderful tool to teach languages.
The problem is that it requires powerful computers to enter and not all cyber cafes have them.

Gonzalo has been helping me a lot with the hardware so I can visit, he got me a graphic card that allows me to be at Second Life though my PC still crashes sometimes.

Here is a video about how to send and create a notecard in SL

BaeL, This is what is keeping me busy

Well, I had not posted here for weeks.
This site is what has been keeping me busy for the last weeks.
I am learning a lot! I had never created a site or a Yahoo Group to actually invite people and learn together.

To be moderating my first online course is a wonderful experience and a challenge. To have it in Spanish has allowed me to get my family and neighbors closer.

I finally discovered where my color pallet has been. Blogger provides it in Spanish, I get they have learned that Latin people love color.
